Some women I know are loath to use the word “crone.” Yet we can reclaim the word for that which is beautiful, ripping it away from the patriarchal hatred of a woman’s power.
Let’s create a new container, first in our minds and then in the world, for the cool, badass women we know we have it in us to be. Let’s psychologically become the “wise women living on the edge of town,” stirring the cauldron of our life experiences, making spiritual medicine to share with those who stop by.
Age doesn’t have to be a downer. It can be a miracle.

Marianne Williamson
For more than four decades, Marianne Williamson has been a leader of spiritually progressive circles. She is the author of 16 books, four of which have been #1 New York Times best sellers. A quote from the mega-bestseller A Return to Love, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…” is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers.
Her other bestsellers have included A Woman’s Worth, The Law of Divine Compensation, Tears to Triumph and The Gift of Change. With her books and online classes she has taught millions of people the universal spiritual principles at the heart of miracle-minded thinking.
Williamson founded Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization that has delivered more than 19 million meals to ill and dying homebound patients in the Los Angeles area since 1989.
